Please come and support our local homeless! Grant County Homeless Task Force will be building the "cardboard city" and taking donations beginning at 2:00 PM on January 21, 2016.

We need your support to provide a warm, safe place for people experiencing homelessness to get a hot meal and stay warm during the coldest part of the year.

We will be accepting the following donations on site:

-Sleeping bags

-Winter coats

-Winter hats, gloves, & scarves

Monetary donations will be accepted as well. These donations will be used to support the community's new warming center, as well as, provide supplies for the annual Point in Time Homeless Count.

SLEEP ON THE STREET

The Grant County Homeless Task Force's "Sleep on the Street" is a grassroots movement that aims to increase awareness around homelessness issues, as well as, raise funds to supprt an extreme weather warming center.

4 prominent community members will be sleeping in a cardboard box for 1 night. Homeless Task Force members will be on-site to share the issues surrounding Grant County's homeless, as well as, gather donations for the community's warming center.
